It takes a village to raise a church …

Church.  We wonder what comes to mind when you read this word.  We know for some it is a lifestyle, some view it as a special occasion location, others a place of pain, some a refuge, and other the embodiment of love.  We believe that you were intended for church.  You were intended for a church that loves to follow the words of Christ and form a village that loves to do the same.

You see, just because a sign, a seat, and a man declares the Word of God, does not mean a church has begun.  A church begins when the people of God rally around the Word of God, and apply the truth therein within the framework of their lives.

Church is about helping the needy, encouraging the down-hearted, caring for the widows and orphans, comforting the broken, rebuking the proud, and equipping the saints for the work of ministry.  Church is made up of an active village of believers in Christ.  God revealed it in Hebrews 10:24 and 25,

And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near.

We don’t mind questions, in fact, we welcome them.  Gather together with us to “stir up one another to love and good works.”
